Our vision: To be a congregation of disciples serving like Christ.
We See….
- A Worshiping Community with open arms.
- A Welcoming Church with doors open wide.
- A Working Congregation opening a bridge to those in our community.
- A wonderful, celebrative and joyful Household of Faith.
We Commit to…
Worship as a community of seekers, people spiritually hungry to know and follow God. Integral to our worshipping community, we see passionate and engaged leaders, praying, teaching, mentoring and encouraging all ages to learn about the life of Jesus and use that knowledge to witness to others. We see full Sunday school classrooms and weekday bible studies overflowing with passionate believers, equipped to use their faith in everyday life. We see youth programs alive with excitement and activity, having fun and learning Christ-based values. Together with Christ, we accept one another and are accepted, love and are loved, shepherd and are shepherded, encourage and are encouraged, forgive and are forgiven, serve and are served.
Open wide our doors and Welcome all seekers, no matter where they are in their faith journey. Because we are all created in God’s image, we welcome and embrace all people, just as believers, by Grace, all are welcomed into God’s family. Through the actions of each individual in this church family, everyone in the community knows they are welcome; there is a place set for them at the feast of life. We are a shelter where children, teenagers, adults and families of all kinds feel safe, comfortable and valued.
Work in service as a church of ministers and disciples of Jesus by building bridges to our community to make a difference in peoples lives. All people in this church use their God-given gifts by serving others, by sharing the Good News, and by helping people develop their relationship with God to become fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ.
Joy that radiates on the smiles of children, hand-in-hand with adults who find smiles contagious. A spirit of freedom and creativity encourages risk, fun and even learning from mistakes. Laughter rings from our times of fellowship and recreation. All are able to laugh, enjoy God’s love, share a hug and caring touch, and even laugh at themselves. From generation to generation, God is good, all the time; all the time, God is good.
